COMMON IDIOMS IN ENGLISH

  1. A penny for your thoughts: This idiom is used as a way of asking someone what they are thinking about.
  2. Add insult to injury: When people add insult to injury, they make a bad situation even worse.
  3. A hot potato: This idiom is used to speak of an issue (especially in current affairs) which many people are talking about.
  4. Once in a blue moon: This is used when something happens very rarely.
  5. See eye to eye: This idiom is used to say that two (or more people) agree on something.
  6. Miss the boat: This idiom is used to say that someone missed his or her chance at something.
  7. Kill two birds with one stone: This means ‘to do two things at the same time'
  8. On the ball: When someone understands the situation well.
  9. Cut corners: When something is done badly to save money. For example, when someone buys products that are cheap but not of good quality.

Why is important the comunicación?
comunicación is very important because you meet another person and they know us, in that way we know what they think, feel and like. if we don´t communicate we going to have many problems in our home, Works and at school.
Importance of communication: 
The communication between people is often almost impossible. The error is in how we say our ideas. Often we accuse, we nudge, fight, do not ask the reasons for some behavior, we need to learn to communicate.
Why parents and children do not adapt communication? As we know, the dialogue is a wonderful thing that brings people together. But unfortunately, sometimes reality is not, it is common for parents and children encounter barriers to communicate eg fatigue, financial concerns, few interests. No listening, labor concerns, Rudeness,Lack of time, Friends, Television.
 Some of the most common factors that lead to problems of lack of communication in the family are: lack of patience, lack of time together, the lack of discipline.
Consequences: many couples with problems of miscommunication end in divorce. Besides the impact that divorce has on parents, the impact on children can be devastating. The lack of communication in the family often has to do with psychological problems in children and adolescents, emotional and behavioral character. Communication problems of the

Family also may extend to the community, when these same communication styles are implemented in the workplace, at school and in other social settings.
